Cosmetic

We can use the Solea laser system for almost any restorative or cosmetic treatment option as well as advanced periodontal therapies. We use Solea lasers for all of the following treatments on a daily basis:

1. Preparing your smile for dental implant placement by removing supportive bone and gum tissue to allow us to insert the implant post into the jawbone.

2. Reshaping soft tissue for cosmetic purposes or to reveal a greater amount of tooth structure prior to restorative or cosmetic treatment.

3. Preparing teeth for fillings, dental crowns, bridges, and other restorations.

4. Removing enamel prior to cosmetic treatments like porcelain veneers.

Why Laser?

The Solea laser system is unique compared with other laser systems because it allows the dentist and team at Fort Dental to perform a wide range of soft tissue and hard tissue preparation, removal, and reshaping treatments without the use of needles, drills, scalpels, or sutures.

The innovative digital technology allows us to perform a wide range of treatments with greater precision, comfort, and speed. As one of only a few DFW Metroplex dental offices that uses the Solea laser system, we are one of the only dental offices that offers injection-free filling treatments.

frequently asked questions

How does Solea work?

The Solea Laser uses advanced CO? laser technology to deliver fast, precise dental treatments without the need for traditional drills or scalpels. It works by gently vaporizing tissue, allowing for more comfortable procedures with minimal bleeding and reduced healing time.

Is Solea pain-free?

Yes! Most patients report feeling little to no discomfort during Solea procedures. In many cases, anesthesia isn’t even necessary. The laser is designed to work without heat, vibration, or pressure—making it ideal for patients who are nervous about pain or needles.

What dental procedures use Solea?

Solea is a versatile laser used for a variety of procedures, including:

  • Solea Sleep for snoring: A non-invasive treatment that tightens soft tissues in the airway to reduce snoring and improve sleep quality.
  • Injection-free fillings: Many cavities can be treated without the need for needles or anesthesia, thanks to Solea’s precise and gentle laser technology.
  • Tongue-tie release (frenectomy): Solea allows for quick, minimally invasive treatment of tongue- and lip-ties with little to no bleeding or discomfort.
  • Cosmetic procedures: The laser can be used for soft tissue contouring and smile enhancement with improved precision and faster healing.

Is Solea accepted by Insurance?

Solea treatments are not currently covered by dental insurance, and the fee varies depending on the procedure. If you are interested in Solea treatment, we recommend requesting a separate appointment so we can provide a detailed evaluation and cost estimate based on your needs.

For Solea Sleep/snoring therapy, the initial exam is $89 and includes a CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) scan—an advanced 3D imaging technique that helps evaluate your airway. This scan is typically a $250 value but is included with your exam.

Before your appointment, we ask that you download the SnoreLab app (snorelab.com) and track your snoring for three nights. This will help us establish a baseline for your sleep and snoring patterns.
